A Brief History About Us

In 1978, José Joaquim Castanheira and João Jacinto dos Reis came up with the idea of opening a barbecue restaurant in Castelo Branco. They named it “Churrasqueira dos 3 Globos” (Churrasqueira dos Três Globos) because of its location next to the roundabout of the three globes. Initially, the establishment was small, but with the success of the business, it became necessary to increase its area. The business started by selling charcoal-roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and French fries. Over time, the business was adjusted to the needs of the market. In addition to selling chicken and potatoes, they added bread, fruit, drinks, soups and the dish of the day. Today, they have implemented take-away services. In 2013, the establishment underwent renovations, creating a more welcoming and attractive space. In June 2018, we created a new dining room, with more privacy, a welcoming atmosphere and pleasant décor.
