In 1978, José Joaquim Castanheira and João Jacinto dos Reis came up with the idea of opening a barbecue restaurant in Castelo Branco. They named it “Churrasqueira dos 3 Globos” (Barbecue Grill of the Three Globes) because it was located next to the roundabout of the Three Globes. Initially, the establishment was small, but with the success of the business, it became necessary to increase its area. The business started by selling charcoal-roasted chicken, baked potatoes and French fries.

Over time, the business was adapted to the needs of the market. In addition to selling chicken and potatoes, they also added bread, fruit, drinks, soups and a daily special. Today, take-away has been implemented.

In 2013, the establishment underwent renovations, creating a more welcoming and attractive space. In June 2018, we created a new dining room, with more privacy, a welcoming feel and pleasant décor.
